The Village owns and maintains the stormwater collection system, which collects the runoff and conveys in to the DuPage River. Crews work to clean the catch basins and inlets for the system, designed to trap debris and prevent that from entering the waterways on a cyclical basis. Homeowners are encouraged to keep storm grates in front of their property clear of debris, including leaves and snow, to prevent surface flooding from occurring.
