1. Child Safety Seat Inspections

   Improperly installed child safety seats increase the risk for serious injury or death in a crash.

2. Citizen's Police Academy

   Once a year, the Glen Ellyn Police Department hosts a Citizen Police Academy. The Academy is meant to give participants a better understanding of how the Police Department operates.

3. Junior Police Academy

   We are pleased to offer a Junior Police Academy. The Academy is held in the summer and is open to students in the Glen Ellyn School District and Glen Ellyn resident students entering the 6th grade in the fall.

4. Prescription Drop Box

   The Glen Ellyn Police Department recently partnered with the DuPage County Health Department’s RxBox program to place a drug disposal box in the lobby of the Glen Ellyn Police Department.

5. Security Checks

   Explore the residential and house of worship security checks. This is a free security assessment of the property, performed by a specially trained police officer.
